The 7th edition: Continuing on last six year’s success, Common Belgium, Common Netherlands and Common Luxembourg, have organized the 7th BeNeLux Power Expo and Conference with intensified education thru workshops on day 1, Wednesday 6 November, and Exhibition and conference on day 2, Thursday 7 November, 2019. The official event language is English and all Benelux participants master it well.
- Current and emerging topics and top IBM and industry speakers: The conference main education themes are: Emerging technologies, Open Source, AI, Machine learning, Application Development, Db2 and SQL, System Management and Customer cases. Workshops / deep dives and education sessions will be offered by IBM and industry experts are: Steve Will, Chief Architect IBM i; Scott Forstie, Business Architect Db2 for i, Doug Mack, WebQuery specialist; Thomas Decorte, Machine learning, R and Python specialist; Fabian Michel, Client Technical Architect; and an IBM Montpellier labs specialist; industry experts like Erwin Earley, Open Source specialist; Niels Liisberg, Application Development specialist; Thieme Meulenhoff for a customer case; Liliane Van Winckel for Application Modernization, Koen Decorte for Application Development; and Rudi van Helvoirt for Systems Management.
- The 4rd edition of IBM and Benelux Power Excellence Awards: Knowing that all you BPs / ISVs / Consultants and our customers have excellent solutions which are sometimes unknown to the community, we want to continue discovering hidden talent through Benelux Power Excellence Awards, a project done in collaboration with IBM. Customers submit their own solutions, Business Partner, ISVs submit on behalf of their customers. More details and submission at http://www.common.be/. Last date of solution submissions is 20 October 2019.

- Easy to reach venue: Like last six years, the event is held in Eindhoven, Netherlands, a place central to the three BeNeLux countries and North-West Germany and easily reachable by car or train for the majority of the participants. Eindhoven also has its regional airport serving many European cities with low-cost operators. Simultaneously, Eindhoven can be reached in about 90 minutes by train or car from Amsterdam (Schiphol) and Brussels airports.
